Yes, Everyone in Real Estate Should Care About This Update.

Before last Thursday (August 7th, 2025), RE professionals who used ChatGPT most likely only took advantage of the 4o model, which honestly wasn’t that great.

It was the quick thinking, yes-man that did the job but was a middle of the road model.

For those who took the easy step of toggling to the best-in-class o3 reasoning model, the experience was let’s just say..better.

Okay- Much Better.

But now with the GPT-5 update, we in Real Estate don’t have to guess which model to use (4o, o3, 4o-mini, 4.1, 4.5, etc).

That’s because GPT-5 now picks the model for you based off of your prompt, which takes the guesswork (and more likely the lack of knowledge around the models) out of the equation.

Oh yea, and it’s now even smarter. Whoa.

Someone I follow said “The floor of GPT-5 is now the ceiling of an intermediate user of GPT-4”.
